So, it seems that the time has come again for me to post.
Oh man, oh man...what a day.

Anyhow, as everyone who reads this journal already knows, my parents are very strict people. Thusly, they have "limited" my freedoms. I don't have a huge problem with this, but sometimes I push the envelope. If you don't already know, I'm a 19-year old guy. By the time many guys reach that age, they have already lost their virginities. I, however, out of respect of my parents and fear of STD's and pregnancy, have not even attempted this. (Some may also say that I haven't attempted because I don't have a girlfriend) But, as a normal 19-year-old I do have the same hormones and desires (more or less) as other non-virgin 19-year olds. So, I relieve my sexual frustration through pornography and self-masturbation. This seems an effective way to "relieve" myself because I can't give myself an STD nor can I get myself pregnant. However, in my culture, and most cultures, there is a huge stigmata associated with masturbation. I've heard that it "is a sin" or that "you could go blind", but the latter sounds merely like some story to scare adolescent boys.
Anyhow, last night, I was "relieving" myself, and much to my surprise, my mother walked into the room. Usually, I would be able to react to this quick enough that she wouldn't know what was happening, but I was very close to climax when she came in, so my reaction time was really slow. She was all like, "Oh my God! What the hell are you watching and doing!" I was all like, instantly unexpose self and turn off computer so she could not see what was going on. She kept questioning me, even when I left the room. She was all like, "Who the hell was on that screen. Tell me!", and my response to this was to pretend that she was mistaken, but I don't think that I was fooling anyone. Anyhow, she's yelling at me for doing such a thing, and asking me over and over if I wanted to get married.
My response to everything that she was saying was a strong no. But, I don't understand, why was she being so irrational? Anyhow, I don't really understand why there is such a stigmata toward masturbation. In my opinion, it is much better than the alternative, sex (at least from the point of view of my parents), so why shouldn't I be able to do so. Also, why do I need to get married merely because my parents discovered me masturbating? Damn it...it just doesn't make sense.
