plumbing woes
I called the plumbers Monday morning and they couldn't make it out until Friday.
The morning after Jerry got home he replaced the insides of his toilet and the turn off valve. The old mechanism would not cut the water inflow off, nor would the turn off valve on the wall. We could potentially loose all our water. There has been a leak under my kitchen sink for some time now, just a little annoying moisture. Jerry tightened all the connections, not an easy task, but it still leaked. He decided to replace the entire faucet and that did the trick. The faucet itself was leaking. We have never encountered this problem before.
HPM, the local hardware store, has taken a very long time to get me bathroom cabinet quotes. So long, in fact, we have had more time to think about our bathroom situation. I wanted to get rid of the 2 ho-hum bathrooms and create an amazing huge spacious one. I was willing to change the outside wall and move walls and windows. No matter how I drew it, we couldn't have what we do now. I like having 2 separate toilets, no seat problems. Jerry likes the separate shower and didn't want a shower curtain. I just wanted a linen closet, something I don't have now. I have figured out a way to add a linen closet to my bathroom by moving the door over. So I am going to redraw, again. This way should be much cheaper and take a lot less time.
Last Friday we went to the Palace theater for the local production of "Little Shop of Horrors". It was great! Sunday was spent moving some old furniture into the Honokaa rent house. The doctor who is working at the hospital will have a nice place to hang out.
I transplanted some things and cleaned out around the culvert. I cut the wedelia off the fence because it was pulling it down.
