The real definition of love
So thanks to Mexico for making me think about this.
She said that she had been looking at the Webster's Dictionary definition of "love" and found it dissatisfying so without further ado, here is my own person definition of love.

Here's how I see love: Love is when you care abotu someone so much that you are willing to honestly give up your life in exchange for theirs. It's being able to say GENUINELY that you just want that person to be happy even if it's not with you and then being broken hearted because they don't choose you when you thought that might have changed their mind. It's being able to be comfortable around them in a teeshirt and jeans and not feel like they are judging you. And to want to be around them constantly even if you don't feel like hanging out. It's caring more about them than you do for yourself and standing up for them when others mock them. It's about being so proud of them that you tell everyone about them, much to their embarrassment. It's wanting to share a life with them knowing it will be hard and wanting to wake up next to them every single day for the rest of your life. It's wanting 50% of each of your children to possess their DNA. It's about knowing that they will grow bald and fat and regardless still thinking they are the sexiest person alive. It's about trusting them with the things you aren't so proud of and knowing they won't turn away. It's about wanting the best for them, in everything they do and praying nightly that they will outlive you so you never have to see them pass away. It's about hoping for the best but expecting the worst and still knowing you will make it through no matter what. It's about knowing that if you had to be locked away on an island for the rest of your life and could only take one person, you'd take him/her. It's about finding joy and laughter with him/her and being comfortable in silence. It's about not needing them but still desperately wanting them around. Take that dictionary.com!
