This will probably the only time I ever do this without friend-protecting an entry like this but I made the exectuve decision to let the world see it because it's pretty damn funny and the kid graduated last year so he doesn't go to that school anymore.
One of the kids wrote a poem for the school newspaper last year.
I promise you will laugh... Just do it!
(And before any smacks me... I admire his guts to write (as well as the fact that he is expressing his creativity in a manner that is nondestructive) this but WTF was he thinking?)

Played
You broke my heart, girl,
Why'd you have to play me like that?
You're like Muhamed Ali,
You knocked me right o the mat.

It wasn't my fault I couldn't see you on Christmas,
I had to stay home and play my new video game.
Ahd it's not my fault that on our first couple of dates,
I wasn't on time and forgot your name.

I todl you I can't afford to bring you out,
I need my money to play poker with the boys.
I'm sorry everytime we watched a movie at my house,
My ex-girlfriend was in the other room making noise.

I couldn't kick her out of my house,
That would have been so rude.
It's not my fault she always interrupted our dates,
She got between us and ruined the mood.

I even rememebered your birthday this year,
One out of three ain't bad.
I brought you MacDonald's for dinner that day,
I don't know why you acted so mad.

I've come to realize girl,
Relationship skills I lack.
But just like N'Sync,
I want you back.

***Now this is a serious poem... and he wanted it posted all over the school that he treated someone this way. So embarrassing!
