What is wrong with Google!
I don't want my email so seamlessly integrated with chat that everyone I correspond with automatically comes on my chat list. And I most definitely do NOT want my chat connected with Orkut. I don't want the world and its neighbour (read Orkut) to know my primary email address or be able to chat or call me using GTalk. And I do not want them to know whether I'm online or offline, idle or busy.
If there are options to disable these, they don't seem to work. And why are they not disabled by default.
