Terrible person
I'm a terrible person. Reading reports about the QLD floods, for which I really wanted to go up and help with first aid, (by the way, I'm FINALLY registered as a first responder after being pending for a year... well done, St John XDD) and I got a report about how this is affecting the market.
Yes, I know I'm crazily into economics and all that, but given the circumstances, I don't think it's appropriate for a non-specialised economist to go about analysing the effects of a natural disaster, during a natural disaster. I mean sure, if I was going to publish some official report, it'd be good, but it's not the time to go "so Woolworths and Coles own an oligopoly over the fruit industry in Australia, hmm... how would that compare if it was a free market situation?"

Also, I couldn't walk this morning. Foot was that painful. =( It felt a bit better in the afternoon, but working a 7 hour shift at work probably wasn't the best idea. Fail Mandy, FAIL. Hope it's better for the show tomorrow, otherwise I'm drugging myself up on codeine. >
