Okay. This is spoilerish... but I need to ramble.
TamaxHaru love is making me insane with moe. Like, I haven't had really squishy feelings in my chest for so long. Not since... um... Full Moon I think. That was years ago. And this isn't like "aww that's so sweet... I wish that could happen to me" (yes I'm a romantic, put a lid on it). This is more "aww that's so sweet... wow I can actually relate a little". Like, in my relation to guys, I'm friends with heaps of guys and I don't think "oh my God reverse harem central." Which is what I love about Haruhi. And then, she's got a developed love for Tamaki, which is also what I have ^////^... except Haruhi's much more calm about it.
Anyway, I was on For Richer or Poorer forums and there was this great debate about the cliche-ness about Tamaki and Haruhi. I mean, I say "yes it's cliche. But do I really care?" the answer is 'not really'. I mean, if it can make me laugh, make me squee, make me love the characters, should I care if I've seen it before. My sister glanced at Ouran and said "not watching it, there's a Momiji-strap". Which I mean, he's similar to Momiji, but because he's a shota character, but there's more to him than meets the eye. All of the characters are like that really. So I don't care if the ending's cliche. I don't care if people think Haruhi is gonna flip and go uber girly (well I'll care if she does do that). I don't want to speculate how Haruhi and Tamaki are going to have 7 children and then be really depressed that it doesn't happen. I just want a happy ending. I don't even care if, by some bizzare twist, Haruhi falls in love with Hikaru on their ski trip. I mean, I want the cliche ending of TamaxHaru, but I won't cry and rip my hair out if I don't get it.
Now that I'm done, it's off to my sister's birthday dinner!
