Furuba 117 (raw w/summary reaction)
Some things don't need a translation, but they're mostly the things we knew already--like, Ren is a total psycho.
My first instinct is to think Akito isn't going to die--even if she's turning that knife on herself, I don't think it'll go that far. If she's been brought to this point by realizing something of what she's done to the Jyuunishi (as the first ML summary suggested), and if that bond really does have anything to do with love and a supernatural connection--and I believe it does--then I can't think she believes her death is the best way to make anything better. But whatever happens, it's going to hurt. *extra sympathies to those of you who love her most* There is that saying, or whatever it is, that people have to hit bottom before they can get better. If this is that turning point for her, I can't think it's all bad in the long run . . . but ouch.
One of Furuba's roots is healing, and she can't heal if she dies. And neither can most of the Jyuunishi, probably. ;_;
On the other hand, if she's going after Ren . . . hmm.
My only other comment right now is to notice that, on that page where it looks like she's remembering how badly she's hurt some of them . . . none of the girls are represented, still. (Unless that's Rin's hair on the bottom left . . . could be, either from the cutting or the defenestration. Actually, that's probably the best bet. Hmm. Although if it's that oblique, I wonder if it's more a reflection of having hurt Haru . . ?)
[EDIT: looking at the icon I chose, I'm reminded--and want to mention--that I do believe in redemption for people or characters who've done terrible things. It's just usually an unbelievably hard road.]
I foresee a posty few days while all the information comes together. I'll try to be good about cuts for the non-Furuba people.
