Drawing partly on info from a couple different posts around these parts and
this post at Tor.com.
There are (unsurprisingly) several returning shows that are on my to-watch list, but that means I haven't started in on them at all and their return date doesn't mean much to me other than "it may get harder to dodge spoilers for a while".
Returning shows:
Elementary (October 2)
Supergirl (October 10) (This requires catching up on at least half a season; we wandered off, but I want to give it another shot now that it's switched networks. I pray that any change in the writing team translates into BETTER DIALOGUE. ;_; Please, please give this show better dialogue.
The Vampire Diaries...probably? Maybe? (October 21) (I broke up with TVD early in season 5, IIRC, and I have zero intention of actually watching everything I've missed, but it seems like I'm about to delve into online summaries or something because they just hired Allison Scagliotti for the final season.)
New shows to watch/check out:
Pitch (Sept. 22)
Luke Cage (Sept. 30)
Westworld (October 2)
Conviction (October 2) (entirely for Hayley Atwell)
Dirk Gently’s Holistic Detective Agency (October 2) (maybe)
Returning-later shows (mid-season or spring 2017), just for the record:
The 100
The Americans
Orphan Black
Other shows I'm/we're watching, also for the record:
The Americans (a few episodes into season 4)
Breaking Bad (we're somewhere in season 2)
Friday Night Lights (technically; it's been ages)
Killjoys (we've only seen one episode of season 2 so far)
Leverage (group watch)
Person of Interest (I still have about half of season 5 to watch, and am back to wanting to)
