Friday-evening mishmash post: dizziness, work wrapping up, ordering prints, etc.

--First, here's a weird health thing I've been meaning to mention for a while, because it's been going on for a few weeks now (maybe even a month?): when I lie down in bed to go to sleep (not to be confused with trying to sleep elsewhere, or lying on the bed to pet a cat), I keep getting really dizzy very briefly--a matter of seconds. It does happen at other times, too (including those very "not to be confused with" things), but "as I'm getting into bed to sleep" probably accounts for 90-95% of the times it happens. Whether I turn the light off/take my glasses off before lying down doesn't seem to make a difference at all.

Fortunately it doesn't seem to be getting worse since I first noticed it, but it's disconcerting. Any ideas, anybody? :/

--After a final week that was excruciatingly all over the map in terms of when I started work and how long I worked at a stretch (including two full overnight shifts! I think prior to this week I'd only actually worked right through the night once since I started at the office in 2009), Casual Job is over until...whenever we get called back, probably sometime in March or April.

Somehow this week still only added up to 44.5 working hours. I don't even know. But I'm completely burned out and exhausted despite napping for a few hours when I got home around noon, and I'm basically going to bed as soon I as finish making this post, because I need to get a lot of manga rewriting done this weekend. Meep.

--Very random, but since a couple weeks ago I talked about our probable renovations to the main/upstairs bathroom, I should mention that it sounds like the window won't be going in until spring (and thus very little, if any, of the other stuff will happen before then).

--Last week Society6 had a sale and free international shipping on prints, and I went poking through their selection of mermaid art and discovered that both of my very favorite mermaid pieces are available there, as is an adorable piece I've seen repeatedly on Tumblr. I kinda ordered all three. ^^; Apparently 2016 is going to be the Year of Framing Things, since I've also still got Meg's Raven Cycle prints (four) and Seanan McGuire's "Wicked Girls" lyrics poster to be framed. (Here are links to the lovely art winging its way here: first mermaid, second mermaid, and the adorable catfish/cat mermaids art from Tumblr.)

--I haven't forgotten that I accepted (am still accepting, technically) topics for posts at the beginning of the month. They'll get done! ^_^
