My manga-buying has tapered off noticeably over the past year or two, which I guess is no surprise. The fact that I'm so far behind on my reading means I'm essentially not reading anything I buy or discovering new series, so as series wrap up I haven't really been replacing them. (It also means that some titles that were coming out frequently have now essentially caught up to the Japanese, so they're coming out more slowly.)
I'm planning to pick up Master Keaton and Black Rose Alice when they start coming out (I've read some of Black Rose Alice, and Master Keaton is Urasawa, so that's a given), and I have volume 1 of Attack on Titan and keep meaning to read it so I can decide whether to get more. Of course, the recent announcement of an omnibus edition complicates that: do I want to keep buying the regular volumes, since so many of them are available, or do I want the omnibus editions for the lower cost? (And it sounds like it'll be one of the extra-shiny sorts of omnibus, not simply putting 2-3 volumes together in each book for efficiency, which is how I'm buying both Hana-Kimi and Skip Beat!)
What am I currently collecting? NANA and Evangelion don't really count (since NANA's been on hiatus forever and Eva has only one more volume). So let's see: A Bride's Story, Genshiken 2, Hana-Kimi (omnibus), Kaze Hikaru, Kimi ni Todoke, The Kurosagi Corpse Delivery Service, Ooku, Rurouni Kenshin: Restoration, Skip Beat! (omnibus), Trigun Maximum (omnibus), Wandering Son, and Yotsuba&!.
(A lot of those come out fairly infrequently, which is why the list can be so long and yet it can feel like I'm not buying that many series.)
And then there are the titles I have 1-3 volumes of but haven't read yet, so I've stopped buying them until I read what I have and decide whether to proceed (which of course risks them going out of print. >.<). That includes, off the top of my head, Attack on Titan, Durarara!, Gate 7, GTO: 14 Days in Shonan, Limit, and Psyren. I also need to decide whether to proceed with Deadman Wonderland and Loveless, both of which went OOP when Tokyopop shut down but have been rescued by VIZ, and about the Sailor Moon short story volumes.
