Tenjou Tenge, bribery . . .

Nov 02, 2004 17:48

My MARS order was sitting on my bed when I got home from work. ^_^ Self-bribery starts now: if I break the 5000 word mark tonight, then I get to read vol. 8.

Chris and I sat and watched the last episode of Tenjou Tenge just now, and it's . . . well, let's just say that "closure" wasn't really a featured word in the adaptation team's vocabulary. Not that I couldn't see that coming a mile away. -_- Of all the scanlations I have sitting around unread, the manga for this is probably the first I'm actually going to get to (except that I do need to take a look at xxx-HOLIC [or is that supposed to be upper-case "XXX" and lower case otherwise?] to get a bit of a feel for Yuko, for a fic I'm dutifully not working on during November . . . )

I may start setting my alarm for about fifteen minutes earlier than usual; today and yesterday I woke up then anyway, and both mornings I've managed about 500 words before heading off to work. Right now I'm sitting at almost 3000 words. And now I'm going to go work on fixing that . . .

(Ah--memo to self: remember to upload chapter two of Innocence tomorrow evening . . . )

*laughs* Which reminds me that the girl has threatened to pull an intervention if she feels that NaNo is doing me more harm than good. *huggles the girl* So far so good, though.

Tonight's writing music: Strange Little Girls. I almost never listen to it all the way through (not that having it in the rotation will help with that--Tori's "Heart of Gold" is pretty painful. Hazards of altering songs so thoroughly for covers: when she misses, she misses *badly*).

nanowrimo, anime: tenjou tenge
