In the name of "it's my journal and I'll squee if I want to (even though only a couple of you will care in the slightest)",
TV Guide posted some behind-the-scenes Criminal Minds cast photos, courtesy of Kirsten Vangsness' camera. The very first photo is Kirsten in all her awesomeness, sitting at Garcia's desk. *fangirls shamelessly*

CDs are all well and good, I guess, but I really wish I had a convenient way of buying mp3s. >.< Probably I should've taken advantage of Amazon.com while we were in the US, but...I didn't. So I've just ripped four CDs, some of which I've owned for a year or more without ever listening to. Suddenly Steve Reynolds (a friend of Tom McRae's, who sometimes opens for him) is on my computer. Since Steve is pretty awesome, this is a lovely development. ^_^

It's now been days since I saw the BSG finale, and my verdict is that is was about as good as I'd let myself hope for. I don't think it was anywhere near as good as the beginning of the series, but given that I thought season three was completely abysmal, the writers dug themselves out reasonably well. It had some large, sweeping issues, but mostly I was satisfied if not thrilled.
I do have one major complaint about the series as a whole:
I spent the entire series praying that Baltar would die--I didn't care if it was fast or slow, peaceful or agonizing. I just wanted him GONE. But no, he blathered right to the end. Ugh, I hate that man. So, so, so annoying. >.< And alive and kicking at the last moments. (Caprica, I thought you'd acquired better taste than that. Not that sleeping with Tigh was a shining example of better taste, but...) GAH.
