PSA: website migration
Sometimes things change fast. In this case, things are changing fast because they fell into place, so it's not at all a bad thing. ^_^
velvetangel has been amazingly sweet and given me free webspace on her domain for the last few years; I didn't use it as my default URL until fairly recently, but all of my images and chunks of the text content have been hosted there forever. Yesterday she let me and her other hostees know that she was seriously thinking of letting the domain lapse in a few months, if we'd all be able to find decent alternative arrangements.
Not too many hours later, I was chatting with kawaiiayu and Merrow about preparations for the Fruits Basket panel at Anime North, and mentioned that I was probably going to need to move my website. And Merrow gave me webspace on the spot, which is awesome on several levels. *^^*
The site is still on velvetangel.net as well, for now (and it probably will stay there in some form of redirect until the domain expires this summer), but the new official URL is ysabet.randomfandom.com. ^_^ *insert standard "please update your links and bookmarks" instructions*
And now I'm seriously thinking about the site again, and wondering if I can actually get the revamps done before leaving for the con. *fingers crossed*
