Must remember to take all the appropriate links with me. ^^
Indeed! *fierce*
I didn't think about Rin & Saki. (Actually, I don't much like to think about Saki at the dojo, but I've gone into that already.) I hadn't really thought of Rin "taking over", but I agree that if that's the case and Saki is around a lot, then Rin won't be.
Really, I don't think that as long as Kyo's still cursed that anything can happen between Saki & Kazuma. (Frankly, I really think that nothing can happen at all. *twitch*) I just feel that Kyo is a very important part of Kazuma's life, so as long as there's this big thing about Kyo that Saki doesn't know, it will be between her & Kazuma. (Wow, that was badly expressed, but hopefully I got the point across?) Just becaue Kyo seems to be doing well, and won't be imprisoned, that doesn't mean that he & Kazuma will drift apart. Their closeness began because Kyo was the cat, but it grew into something more, and it should last beyond Kyo's neediness.

( ... )
I vote we pretend that there was a very gentle but definite and final conversation off-screen, in which Kazuma clearly explained why such a thing was not going to happen. (Or something maybe subtler, where Saki tries, but Kazuma gently but firmly rebuffs her.) Kazuma made it clear that she's his son's friend and she will always be welcome, but there can't be anything between them.
*nods* An excellent plan. Surely, some such thing must have happened. ^_- (Esp. 'cause I can see Kazuma still not minding the idea of teasing Kyo a bit by not clearing things up right away with him, even if he and Saki did have such a conversation.)
