Title: Save Me.
Rating: PG13
Warnings: Mentions of suicide/abuse.
Summary: She'd had enough. And the one person she had to lean on had no idea she existed. But she had to see him... she had to see him again before she did what she had to do.

Rain soaked through her jacket as she stumbled along the poorly maintained pavement, tripping as her torn sneaker caught in a particularly large pot-hole. Mascara stained her cheeks as she wiped her eyes weakly. She had to make it there. She was almost out of energy. Her small fingers wrapped themselves around the metallic item in her pocket, and she felt a small smile curve along her lips. It would be over soon.

She was tired of everything. She was so sick of it all. She was sick of her drunken step-father arriving home and taking out his anger on her. She was so sick of her classmates being so distant and so hateful to not even begin to try and understand her situation at home. There was always something to pick at. Her clothing, her hair, the bruises on her face. But no one questioned it. No one ever took a second glance at the invisible girl.

So hated. So unwanted. The one person she took solace in didn't even know she existed. She was delusional enough to rely on him throughout the years, regardless. But she was so tired, so worn. She just couldn't be strong anymore. "Mianhae, JaeJoong-ah." Pale lips whispered as she stepped closer to his home.

Outside, many girls from her own school stood, signs flashing and cameras ready to catch a glimpse of their idol. No one turned to her as she stayed off to the side of the group, not wanting to get caught in the crowd. Watching from the sidelines. Like she'd always done. None of them, not even the crazy sasaengs would welcome her into their group. Because that's just how useless she truly was. She wasn't even worthy of their attention, nevermind their care. She was important to no one. Not even the lowest of people. Never in her life.

She stared blankly up at what she knew was his window. So high up, she wondered if he even bothered to glance out ever once in a while. He always had someone outside, someone watching over him. Even if they were annoying, she'd give anything to have someone want to make sure that she was okay. She'd give anything to be cared about that much.

Her lip trembled as she gripped harder onto the silver shotgun in her pocket. Drawing it slowly, she watched to be sure none of the other girls noticed. Not that they would. She was the invisible girl. Hands shaking violently, she lifted the gun to her head, tears running down her cheeks. Oh how she wanted to see him just once before she left this place for good. How she wanted to see those eyes, and hear that voice just one last time. Did that make her crazy? Desperate? It didn't matter anymore.

And she saw him. Casually walking by, clad in a T shirt and what looked to be pajamas. He seemed to be holding a mug. In her right mind, she might have wondered what he was drinking. Hot tea? Coffee? Was he up late writing music? But she didn't wonder, she just stared. And she could have sworn that their eyes met. As soon as he appeared, though, the connection that she could have very well imagined was broken as he disappeared away from the window again.

Another face. Was it Yoochun? She couldn't make out much. Her tears had begun to flow uncontrollably as she prepared herself for the unknown. She'd be lying if she said she wasn't scared. She was terrified. But she knew, she knew that on the other side, God would be there for her. He would be there, and she wouldn't have to be alone anymore.

As her finger moved against the trigger, however, she heard screaming from the fans in front of her. Waving signs, and ecstatic sounds filled her ears. What had happened? And just as quickly as he had been upstairs, Kim JaeJoong stood before her. Her gun fell to her side, and she just stared at him in disbelief. He bit his lip before reaching forward and embracing the shivering girl. He held her against his body, and she couldn't hold back anymore. Her whole body was heaving as she let out heavy sobs that had been held in for much too long.

And in that moment, nothing else mattered. Yoochun came to them, seemingly out of breath, and pulled at them to come upstairs. "Out of the rain" he said softly, eyebrows furrowed as he looked down at the young fan in worry. He gestured to the rest of the girls now staring, whispering amongst each other, "You need to go home now."

***A/N - Thanks for reading. I'm not too sure where this sort of story came from. I guess, probably because so many fans have talked about how these men saved them. And even if, in those situations, they may not have gone to such extremes such as in this piece of FICTION, it's the same. Because, their music and personalities have helped so many people hold on. So this kind of illustrates that in a very, very dramatic way. I'm planning to write from Soul Mate's POV in the apartment later on. Hope you enjoyed.
