JaeJoong stared at Yunho, disbelief consuming him. The words pierced his heart, causing him to step back in pain. The reality of the situation was like a fire, coming towards him faster than he could comprehend, hot flames licking at his skin. He would have rathered the sensation of being burned alive over the harsh pain of Yunho’s coldness.
“I’m sorry, JaeJoong.” Meaningless words sounded from in front of him, but JaeJoong closed his mind. He pressed his hands to his ears and let out a piercing scream. Falling to his knees, he curled in on himself, his head tucked between his knees.
Yunho stared blankly, not expecting such a dramatic response. He crouched at JaeJoong’s side, reaching a hand to touch his shoulder. JaeJoong’s head snapped up as he pushed Yunho away, “You lied.” His eyes were wild. Yunho faltered back at the sight of his face; contorted, tears streaming down his face, his eyes betraying some sort of insanity that was foreign to Yunho.
Yunho reached out again, “Shit, JaeJoong.”
JaeJoong tilted his head back, tears streaming down his cheeks as he outstretched his arms, his screaming becoming nearly inhuman. He shook his head, raven locks falling in front of his angelic face, tips of hair becoming wet with tears. The few wet strands stuck to his cheeks as he looked up, eyes void of any sort of life. Yunho backed away from him as he fell hard onto all fours. His hands hit the floor, his head bowed.
Yunho placed his hands on his shoulders, “JaeJoong, look at me.”
“NO!” JaeJoong pulled Yunho’s left hand into his own, eyes lingering over the ring that he’d bought for him. Couple rings. A sign of a promise. JaeJoong lifted the hand slowly to his mouth, biting down hard.
As the blood filled his mouth, Yunho shouted in pain, pulling his arm back in surprise. JaeJoong laughed, blood dripping off of his plump lips and down his chin, falling gently down the milky skin on his neck. He felt around for his bag as Yunho stepped backwards.
JaeJoong fumbled for a moment, his entire body shaking, convulsing almost. He let out a sob before pulling out the weapon.
A gunshot.
A spatter of blood.
A thud.
Another scream.
Only this time, it was Yunho.
