Michigan beat Michigan State!
Senior guard Dion Harris scored 24 points to lead the U-M men's basketball team to a 67-56 victory over intrastate rival Michigan State Tuesday, Feb. 27, in Crisler Arena. Harris had the magic touch all evening, shooting 7-of-14 from the field and a perfect 8-of-8 from the free-throw stripe. Senior center Courtney Sims and senior forward Brent Petway added 13 and seven points, respectively, for Michigan, which concludes the regular season on U-M's Senior Day against Ohio State Saturday, March 3 in Ann Arbor.
Still not deserving of going to The Dance, they've played like crap up until recently, and they almost blew it against Indiana...if they make it, I'll be really surprised, and I won't be expecting them to go far at all. However, they can still say they made the tournament, I guess. Beating Ohio State is a huge task; Oden is a force of nature.
