I say both Adam and Derek are. But Adam says having more than one best friend defeats the idea of a best friend, so he has to knife fight Derek for the title. And since Adam could never beat Derek in a knife fight, Derek wins.

Feeling like I'm useless.

Rather fine, no complaints
