SO GOOD. God, I can't stop watching the Hug. Sirius is all getting up close and then Remus is just 'oh fuck it' *HUG*.

Love the hug in reverse. As a video maniac, what program did you use to make this? *deadly curious*

Very nice ^-^

Thanks :)

I used Adobe Premiere to make the vid.

Wow! Awesome. I love that song, never heard it before, and it gives a beautiful melancholic feel to the video. It works great by the way, not at all like a patchwork of samples of what's possible with Adobe Premiere, but the things you do with it look great (I can see how you could have easily overdone it, just because it's so cool!)

That hug is reversed?!?!? If you hadn't told us I would just have thought 'huh, I don't remember the hug to be this cuddly'

Great job, and thanks for sharing :D

Thanks :)

The song was co-written by Joss Whedon and played on a Buffy episode during season 7. It's now on the "Radio Sunnydale" soundtrack.

Yeah, I thought the hug looked cuddlier in reverse :D And that's a great way to edit out Hermione without it feeling like I've removed half the hug.

That was incredible! You were able to do it despite the relatively short time Sirius was actually in the movie :) Loved the song, loved the effects (wasn't overdone at all, it was wonderfully subtle), loved it all. I probably wouldn't have known the hug was played backwards if you hadn't mentioned it either... it was as seamless as it could get. It was a tad dark, but what are you going to do, ya know? I still loved it. Beautiful! (Ok, I'll stop now)

P.S. Especially loved the close up of Remus' eye and the shot of the werewolf playing "against" it (technical term escapes me at the moment). That whole pull in-wolf howl-pull out thing--brilliant!

Seriously... I will stop praising you now ;)

Thanks :)

Yeah, I know it's dark. I tried playing with the brightest/contrast, but it made it worse. My original footage isn't that great (it's a cam copy) so that was to be expected.

I am stunned. The only thing that comes to mind is that you must have such an enormous amount of talent that I flail in envy.

This vid is perfect. Aww, now if only I liked the werewolf and dog of the movie better! (I thought they could have been done so much better, but that's just me.)

I agree with the poster above that it's not too overloaded with technical cuteness, the only thing I thought went on for too long/was too slow was the werewolf-in-eye sequence, but I think that's just personal taste. Really good!

Thanks :)

I don't dislike the dog that much (I thought he wouldn't be as thin, but I figure it makes sense after 12 years in Azkaban). The wolf though... gah, no, no, no, no. Even in her book, JKR says there are only little subtleties between the werewolf and regular wolf.

I tried to match the eye sequence with the lyrics of the song, it lasts for an entire line. I'm not sure if I think it's too long, but I do agree that it's too slow. I would've needed more footage so I could play it at a faster speed. I think this part plays at a 50% speed, which is too slow. Especially at the begining, where the wolf barely moves. Slowed down that way, it looks like the motion stops for a while. Unfortunately I have to work with the footage in the movie, and that's all there was :(
