I got a new phone! Samsung Propel..in green! But I want to get a case for it. Unfortunately, I am woefully short on money right now, so we'll see.
Also, I brought Nick down to New Haven today, which was nice. I just showed him all the buildings, and it was weird walking around while the campus was essentially empty. We visited all the major buildings, although we did not go inside North. He's really excited about going to Southern, and I hope that he likes it, but I don't know what else to tell him. I showed him down Dixwell Avenue and just kind of tried to be helpful. It was slightly strange because I didn't pull into any Southern lots on the way back..just went straight back home? Sometimes I wonder if it is too easy for me to adjust.
Stacy says we haven't been reckless enough this summer. I agree.
I wish she wasn't so far away.
I would've gone to get her and driven around and in the heat, well, I'd be happy with her in the passengers seat, and we could've gotten ice cream, and maybe the night would've been better than others, something to remember at least.
Soon she wont be so far away. I hope I have an opportunity to make life more interesting for her then (in more ways than one).
I'm really nervous about working at a new Big Y and classes and trying to hang out with Stacy as much as she allows. Mostly Big Y though...I haven't even driven there once yet, which I suppose I should. I thought about doing it today, but the heat was overpowering.
