"Jace mentioned it," Alec groused, finally surfacing from the blankets enough to get a good look at what parts of himself he could see. Which meant his hands and his arms, mostly, which... actually still had runes on them, and familiar ones, too.

"He didn't say I'd wind up looking like my sister."
"Huh." Victor had actually wanted to know if he looked like his mom, but he realized there'd be no way Alec possibly would know that. He'd have to find a mirror and figure it out. "So ... not like a troll. I can work with that."
Shh, Alec wasn't really up yet. He was allowed to be disoriented for a minute.
