So this weekend was quite a failure. Last weekend was so amazingly good and productive, and I forgot how much harder it is to achieve that with parents around. And algebraic topology homework is easy but a real pain to write up. And, it wasn't even just nastiness with drawing pictures; there was one part that was essentially a pointset topology

Why is it harder to be productive with parents around?

No, no. That's EGSes (to totally make up a word). And that starts as early as first grade, actually.
