I just recieved a message from my good friend Nick, who is traveling overseas:
"I made it...I'm in South Korea...and oh my god!!!, this is a big city but there are no street names. This is the craziest country I've ever been to. I walked around with Emily and you see things like Koreans driving in nice cars to the backdrop of old women street vendors in small enclosures made of wooden slabs and old ripped towels lining the sidewalk selling raw fish and seafood. It is very 2nd world. I can't read or communicate worth a damn here. I can say hello, thank you, and the landmark where I can tell a taxi driver to drop me off at the apartment. There is a Walmart and McDonalds which use the same logos but are spelled in Korean. Everyone looks at me weird here cause this city is about 500,000 people and they are all Koreans who never see tourists..."
Next time, it's me who is traveling. But, this can't happen for quite some time due to money and school. On the other hand, I have all of my general education done now that I passed my last math class. MY LAST MATH CLASS EVER!!!!!! Whew....
So, what now? Well, several things. Each one more important than the next...
