Aww, thanks for saying that. You are truly a Noble, er, Rot :) I think to people who don't like Stabler, I can seem like an knee-jerk defender. I've also been accused of repeating myself. Which is true, probably. It's partially the nature of TWoP, and partially the result of USA showing the same episodes over and over again. Oh, and you know, partially because of my contentious nature.
And please don't shoot me, but thanks to TWoP, I am so fucking over Stephanie March. They just never... shut up... about her. Bore, bore, bore. Oh no - have you turned into a Casey fan, too? The world's gone mad, I tell you!
But seriously, I understand. I still love her, but too much emphasis on anyone person or plot is offputting. I think some people would say the same about me and Stabler. If you're predisposed not to like someone or even if you're just neutral, and then you go somewhere and it seems like that person is all anyone talks about or is praised all the time? You can end up hating the person. That might be part of why Olivia bugs me so much now. When I first lurked at TWoP, Olivia was the untouchable one. I remember being amazed that all anyone talked about was Benson or A/O.
And I worked hard to make TWoP a Stabler zone, which is one of the reasons I don't want to abandon the place. Practically every other board is all about Olivia or MH, so ultimately, I don't feel that bad if people see TWoP as Stabler-centric. (Which it isn't, but now I'm repeating myself!)
