First of all, that messageboard IS a trainwreck. I mod the Mfan.com forum and we at least try to keep the posts about charactors and actors separate.We also strive to keep personal attacks off the boards. MH needs to look into some people that can mod a board while allowing for fun and snark.

Secondly, your opinions about CM and Stabler are essential to the fandom. Why? Because you are one of the rare Stablerites and Stablerites are needed to help balance the fandom. We can't all be MH or SM, or god forbid, DN lovers. Don't change a thing. I mean it! I will write gawd-awful Elliot/Casey fic if you do.

Don't delete this post. It's a breathe of fresh air.

Thank you so much, CB. First off, I know you are in actual pain, so it's very sweet of you to soothe my hurt fandom feelings.

I am always relieved to hear that some Benson and/or Cabot fans appreciate my Stabler views. It's not as if I don't realize some of it is repetitive, but it's the nature of the beast somewhat. And it's probably a healthy thing to have my own peccadilloes pointed out - I just wouldn't mind a little respect along with it.

I will write gawd-awful Elliot/Casey fic if you do.Hee! I threatened someone with Casey/Olivia fic recently. If nothing else, Casey is a powerful weapon ( ... )

As dargie says, you have arrived when you're targeted like that, but that doesn't keep it from stinging.

I love your pro-Stabler stance and would hate to see you get discouraged. Your posts are almost the only ones I enjoy these days (here on LJ or over at the CM board) because you bring something positive to the table, and that's incredibly refreshing.

God, please don't delete this post. You have a right to defend yourself even if our "dialogue" didn't turn into a complete and total UV-smackdown. If I didn't think that what your opinions were something important, worth considering, and damn entertaining I wouldn't have defended you in the first place.

Personally, I don't even know why I post there. I think I just find it entertaining. Which is probably really sad on my part but, meh, what are you gonna do? :)

As for posting there, I can see how it would be hard to resist. The snark factor alone is priceless. And the place needs more posters like you, not fewer!
