So, I need two new flatmates. One of my flatmates moved out over a month ago and there was someone who was going to move in to replace her. But he kinda jerked around and then only told us a few days ago that he's not moving in. :/
And now, because of that my current flat mate will have no money next month to pay for another months rent. So, he's very likely going back to Canada at this point. Unless someone either moves in right away or is able to pay the deposit this month asap and just start rent next month.
Which leaves me in more stress. As if I dont have a lot right now, as it is. :/
So, I am looking for two new flatmates, preferably those I know and get along with (though if you know someone who is looking for a room in london, please let me know, Im happy to get to know people.^-^) Aside from wanting someone I get along with, someone who is fairly tidy would be nice too ^_^
Info about the flat:
The flat is ablout a 7 minute walk from the Hither Green Rail Station and just a minute or so from a Tesco and 5 mins from a Somerfield. It's fairly easy to go into the center of Lewisham or Catford. If youre not familiar with Lewisham, it has a big shopping center and the DLR.
Outside the flat is a nicely kept, little communial garden. We get lots of birds and squirrels and at times, foxes ^_^ We're also a short walk from a decent sized park.
Rent is £286 a month Council tax would be about £40, If I can get two people to move in. Otherwise if it's just one person moving in it is £429 a month and £60 for council tax.
Flat has one bathroom with a bath and shower. Kitchen has a toaster, oven, fridge and freezer, washing machine. Plenty of cupboard space ^_^
Something people should be aware of; Essentially, it is a 2 bedroom flat. With the the last flatmates, one had the room and the other used the livingroom. So, if someone moved in before my current flatmate left, they'd be in the living room until he leaves back to Canada.
Though, neither of us use the living room a whole lot except for going to the kitchen, and maybe watching a little telly durring dinner. I understand it's not exactly ideal.
Actually, my current flatmate is actually offering that if someone moves in asap, If they dont want the living room he's happy to talk to them and let them have the room.
Im sure I've forgotten something,.. i always do, but if you need any further info , just let me know Im happy to help. Hopefully I can get some photos taken so people who havn't been here can see what it is like.
