HOLIDAY!
Well this week will start the 4 week countdown to my trip to Mississippi. Its going to be absolute hell at work due to the fact that my lead is taking a month off and i will be 1 of 2 competant mechanics on the night shift. Meaning i will be busting my ass doing a ton of trouble shooting, and be pressured to complete frustrating 8-10 hour jobs in under 4. But after that is all done i will be kicking back in the beautiful country side of Florence Mississippi being forced to eat amazing food and do absolutely nothing for a full week. I dont really feel that burnt out right now but ill tell ya that week is surely gonna be nice. It'll be about a year since ive seen my Mom. I guess ive come to terms with the fact that she lives so far away. When she moved i really didnt know how i was going to go on......but the last few years have gone by so fast that it doesnt even seem like that long since i last saw her. Anwyays i bought my ticket yesterday.....im getting siked!
This weekends been pretty rad. Internal Affairs and Right On played Gilman which basically ruled my face. IA actually had merch in my size....for once. 108 on Sunday was pretty friggin amazing. I havent been going to that many shows as of late so it was nice to have a back to back weekend at Gilman, run into a bunch friends, and have a great time. Unfortunately i didnt get to ride my new bike there either day.....but im sure ill make up for that soon. I really love riding around downtown at night. There are so many lights and so many big buildings, yet the streets are completely empty and silent. Id love to take a bike ride down here some night with a group of friends. Once i make a couple adjustments to my old bike ill just force Chon to go with me.
Anyways i gotta go move my Car.
