GAH!
Apparently, my apartment flooded on Saturday, shortly after I left for Ithaca. Not massive flooding, but enough to soak the carpet in my bedroom pretty thoroughly.
So, I came back from my trip to find that the apartment had flooded, the carpet had been cleaned/dried while I was gone, but stacks of clean laundry that had been on the floor were (still wet) moved to the bed, soaking into my mattress.
Needless to say, this is not what I had hoped to return to.
sigh.
So glad I already decided to move out next month.
