(no subject)
if i had to pick one of the top 50 best nights of my life so far, tonight would be one of them. no things didn't get crazy, but i just felt completely content and actually said the words "i fucking love my life" tonight, so you know it had to be good.
went to the shop (that's the name of it, it's in five points a few doors down from cloud nine/bohemian rhapsody) and got a fleur-de-lys on my back in the middle at the top. it's pretty nice. black and shaded and just awesome. my tattoo artist, brett, was amazing. after we got my tattoo, we went to the bar next door and brett bought me a few drinks, and lauren and matt drank too. we just hung out with him and a few people that work with him. they're all fun and crazy. they busted out the bb gun, oh lord. now i'm not the only one around with a third nipple! ha. but it was a lot of fun, being at a bar in birmingham as opposed to new orleans. don't get me wrong - bars in new orleans = my life, but it was just crazy that we left birmingham before we had the chance to meet cool people and go to chill places like that. so, tomorrow we're going back and getting someone else a tattoo. :) hee. umm and, we just had a lot of fun. singing songs together on our way to the fourth mcdonald's of the night (the other three, the one in trussville and the two in irondale, were closed! fuck that).. we were really hankering for some mcdonald's. anyway, it was a lot of fun and we're going back tomorrow and probably getting drunk with those guys again since we can get into the bar free because of one of the guys that works at the bar and at the tattoo place. plus i have brett's number. so we're good. anyway, i just wanted to document how great of a night i had and how we almost didn't end up at the shop because we almost went to aerochild... but they were closing in half an hour so before even going in we decided to go to cloud nine, which overpriced us so we went to the shop and... fate took us the whole way. jesus, serendipity. i love it.
