quickie from teh home
i'm at the old parents house and i thought i'd give whoever reads my journal a little update since i'm basically unreachable. so i'll just give you a quick rundown of my vacation so far:
- annual Eastman family gathering at the lake was a great time as usual. we didn't forget the watermelon this year! my uncle Mark turned 60!
- the 4th was a great time. went with my mom to my Uncle Lloyd's lake house (yeah i have two relatives with lakehouses). we had the usual tubing deal which i'm still quite sore from. the food was great and i got to get drunk with my aunt and my mom.
- my car: it took 5 quarts of oil to get it home without exploding. i may be driving it home with a new engine and 900 dollars less in my checking account. i need a third job, i really do.
- my mom dropped my phone in the lake at my Uncle's house haha. but i dried it out and it works fine now.
- certain optimisms have turned sour lately (whoa vague).
- i'm getting to hang out a lot with my little sister and my Mom. hopefully, depending on my car situation, i'll get to visit my Dad and his family before i have to go back.
- a personal quest of mine is well underway. don't ask what it is cause i won't tell.
not much else to talk about here other than i'm feeling that financial pressure once again. playing DDR today kinda helped. even though it was a dollar for 3 songs and i was like the only one there except for some surly looking bar-rapists. right now i'm just gonna go to bed and let tomorrow be what it will be. I'll be back this weekend with some luck, so those of you who care, I'll see you then!
