so i'm just hanging out in the lab listening to Mae cause someone mentioned something about them the other day. my japanese class was cancelled. it's weird, that's like the only class i feel bad about missing or dissapointed about when it's cancelled. but anyways, i came back to the lab to work more on 3D stuff but i just ended up surfing and doing this. so now i am to describe how i'm feeling at the moment. i'm feeling a mixture of things at the moment so i'll try to isolate each and explain why.
happy and excited: 1) my mom found a car and bought it for me today. i just have to pay her back and go get it at some point. it's a 1997 Saturn Sl2 with a MANUAL transmission. it's been so long since i've driven stick so this is a good thing. 2) my interview for GET is tonight. i'm a little nervous but my friend jill (the president of GET) said that people like me so i think i'll be alright. 3) Me and Mike decided to live together next year, as he is preferring to not live with his parents.
Frustrated: 1) Girls. lack of, inaccessibility of, my incompetance with, general awkwardness surrounding.
Stressed: 1) i want to get kick ass grades this quarter to ensure my GPA stays above 2.7 in case i get a bid for GET. this means trying to force my naturally slackass self to kick it into gear, which is harder than i thought it would be. 2) i still haven't made a new resume or portfolio so that i can START looking for a job this summer. 3) me and mike really haven't started looking for an apartment yet. though this on isn't so bad because i know there's gonna be tons of housing available. 4) i feel like i'm trying to keep up friends in two different places and it's kinda hard juggling hang out times and whatnot.
retarded: 1) i stayed up til 2 last night because i didn't get to do my laundry til late, and of course i had to get up at 7 to go to class, which i was late for because i'm a snooze-button-whore and i missed the bus once haha. Even though i had a kickass time last night with the Mikes i kinda feel like i should have stayed in and done work. i think that's what i'll be doing tonight though cause i have my interview and i want to be undistracted.
