my battle with worms

so i have no idea when i got it, but somehow over break i got a worm. it started to show it's ugly head at my dad's house when everything started going really slowly. basically my computer wouldn't start up after that and the end result is me sitting here with a computer that has basically nothing on it. i lost all the school work i've ever done

from your title I first thought you meant like dog worms... haha

good for you for being an optimist -- but good luck on replacing stuff, and it's not just you -- we all don't back things up and we should -- this crash and burn crap has happened to a few other friends on campus as well

and can you tell us what the secret project is? I know you'll probably say it's not a secret project if it's not "secret," but why else would you mention it... and if you don't want to say what it is now, at least say what it is when it's finished :)

reading it again i can see how you were mislead haha. I definitely have learned my lesson about backing stuff up. the other thing is, i have printouts of a lot of my most recent projects that i can scan in. i just don't have the native program files. so it's not all bad. and about the secret project: all i can say is that it's a bit of a self improvement thing that i've always wanted to do. this 30 day thing is a trial to see if the results match the effort. i'll probably explain it when it's over.
