I read this months Rolling Stone the other night... "The 500 Greatest Songs Ever Written". I only read the top 100 and then remembered a certain debate about Van Morrison being better than The Beatles. The people voted and there are 10 Beatles songs in the top 100 songs of all time. And 1 John Lennon song, "Imagine" that. I found Van Morrison while flipping through the other pages at like 109 or so with Brown Eyed Girl. (love that song) I just thought that was interesting. Unfortunatly, the Police only had one song in the top 100, every breath i take. lame! I was surprised to how many people hadnt forgotten about Bob Dylan. He of course was number one. I think the stones were numero dos. Why do i even remember all of these? PROBABLY because im in the computer lab trying to do a last minute project. Its a funny time...we will all laugh together soon.
Come gather 'round people
Wherever you roam
And admit that the waters
Around you have grown
And accept it that soon
You'll be drenched to the bone.
If your time to you
Is worth savin'
Then you better start swimmin'
Or you'll sink like a stone
For the times they are a-changin'.
-you know who.
