(no subject)
Life's strange, you know? I mean, if you had told me a few months ago that on October 9th, I'd be staying with my girlfriend for a few days, the day after moving to London, I would have thought you were off your rocker. Good stuff like that doesn't happen to me. But it has. After many trials and false starts, I finally moved (most of my stuff) to London yesterday. I packed up three vehicles worth of stuff, and headed to the townhouse that will be my home for the next year, at least. We had some problems at first (Ken nearly earned himself a Foot Colostomy), but everything went fine. My stuff isn't exactly set up yet, but that's okay. I have all week to worry about that, and no lack of people to help me. Ken is already in the house, seeing as he was there to begin with (it's his mother's former townhouse, and we're taking up the lease), Kendall is there (after a fashion; he was getting dragged around the last time I saw him), and then I'll have Jean, Kay and Tristan to possibly help out too. And last, but most definately not least (that title is reserved for Ken), I have Mandi. You might remember my former tirades about a person known as 'The Bondage Fairy', an ex-girlfriend who's title dirived from her supposed penchant for sado-masochism. Well, guess what? We're back together. Through a process of subterfuge, and trickery, and flirting (I don't really care to get into details here), we met back up again last monday, and hung out for the day. It became clear to both of us that there still existed something between the two of us. Because of the state of my room back in the townhouse, I'm staying at her place for a few days, and over the course of last night, we decided that we wanted to be together again. I'm happy, and so is she. Heck, I've even earned a new nickname in the process (though I'm guessing you don't want to know what it is XP). So, yeah, less than 24 hours into my new life in the city, and I'm really liking it. Everything is coming up Aces for me! W00T!
Anyway, the lads and I will most likely be having a housewarming party once we get our place in order. Judging by the fact that we're going to be away this weekend, I think we'd be having it next weekend. So, I'll give all the VIPs a call and tell them when to show up. Bring food. :P
Anywah, the Bondage Fairy is still sleeping (she likes that nickname actually, so she's keeping it), so I think I'm gonna go crawl back into bed with her.
