you took that life that i used to live
so this weekend was most definitely the best i've had in well over 3 months.
for those of you who didn't know, jake came up this weekend for homecoming and omg it was SOOOOO good to see him. seriously, like, the best thing that's happened to me in a long time. and this is gonna be a really long entry.
jake called me at lunch on friday and told me that he was in ohio, but he wasn't gonna tell me what time he was expecting to be in cuz it was gonna be a "surprise". i was, needless to say, quite upset at this. but i knew about what time they left that morning, so i figured they would be getting here around four. so i get home from school and i'm sitting in my bedroom, looking out the window, waiting for him to come walking down the street. about 4:15 i see him running down the street. i scream and started running for the door. we just stood there holding each other for like, 5 minutes. anyways, he came in and said hi to my parents and then we went over to lydias. she was mad about something and i don't know what it was, but i'll figure it out eventually...i always do. anyways, julie and bri came over to lydie's and then lydie had to eat supper so we went over to zack's and saw josh, i love that kid. he's grown, like, four inches in the three months since i've seen him, it's crazy. anyways, me and jake sat on the swing for a little while until i had to go home for supper and then after supper i came back over and we sat on the swing some more until i had to go home at 10:30.
SATURDAY
well, me and jake and lydia were going to go to the PX for lunch, but then jake called and asked if we wanted to go bowling instead. so we all loaded up and drove to the alley, and it was closed cuz there was a league. :( but we were right across from the PX so we walked over there anyways and ate lunch and shopped for a bit. then we went over to lydie's and listened to music and watched the first part of Hitch before i had to go home and start getting ready. after i was ready, me, jake, Mrs. King and Mrs. Cathy went over to lydia's cuz mrs. Georgianna wanted pictures. then after that we went to the Smiths' cuz i promised we would. then we went back to my house cuz everyone was starting to come over. bri, julie, and nathan came over and we took pictures. then we went to the fondue room and this time i burned myself twice! i was trying to beat my old record. but it was still excellent anyways. so yeah, then mr. and mrs. annick drove us to the school and me and jake took pictures and all these chicks from his old school and some of them were really annoying. like, REALLY annoying. but anyways, we danced, despite jake's multiple attempts not to. he's so sweet. he's so good to me, he spoils me rotten. i seriously can't tell you guys how so in love i am with him.
anyways, then my mom came and we went home. jake and i said good-bye, and i didn't cry last night because i wanted to be strong and i told myself i wouldn't, but then today i pretty much spent all day in bed crying. even right now i'm sitting here holding tish (the teddy bear he gave me for my birthday).
