Today was a good day. At work I successfully reduced the instruction count for processing a second of data by over 100,000 instructions. Then I went out to WPI for a very short SFS meeting and then watching some Invader Zim episodes. It was quiet enjoyable.
Of course, now I'm in an empty house since my dad is California. He's actually getting to see one of my best friends from high school out there, which is unfortunately not all that useful to me.
And now an unrelated observation: the best way to win an argument on LJ is to make a clear, concise point early in the reply tree and then stick to it. Getting involved in already started debates in usually ineffective. Go forth and use this knowledge for good! Or ignore it, that's ok too.
