But first, I'm sad to say that the Book Super Porky initiative has ended. It has come to my attention from various places that WWE has decided that I, too, have my head up my ass and as punishment they (a) signed Super Porky and (b) decided to exploit Eddy's death in order to increase decrease interest in WWE as they head towars Wrestlemania. So fuck WWE. Watch CMLL or TNA or ROH or whatever. There's a bunch of indy DVDs on sale in FYE (at least here in El Paso) so there's no excuse (unless you're cheap) of checking out non-WWE wrestling.

This is a good example of great design:
JuvenileCasualty.net. Even though it's busy as hell, it looks very unique and it captivates my attention. Great job. What impresses me is that the designer is only 14. Holy crap!
I recently installed Corel Painter Essentials 2 (got it for free with my Wacom tablet) (thanks Jim!) and been playing with it. I had this idea for Revolucha 3 and I need to master Corel Painter to do that. Can someone give me 189 dollars so I can buy the full version? It's better than wasting who knows how many thousands of dollars in WWE DVDs a year. You're helping me and not supporting WWE so what's the downside? Nothing, that's what!
Sometimes I ponder why I'm doing this since the Revolucha crew has their own staff... but then I remember how much fun I'm having with Painter.
My goal is eventually to do something comparable to Alex Maleev's work. For those (all?) of you that are asking what the heck a Maleev is, here's some of his work (all done with Painter):
Well, I have a long way to go.
It'll be fun. That's what matters.
So I think I'm in the middle of my fourth week in college. The lack of art classes are making things more manegeable and less hectic. Sociology and Psychology are very interesting courses. As of late I've been thinking on why people do things and both of these courses are giving me a good idea why people do stuff. Psychology has more theory than Sociology, though. History feels like a fucking high school course so the less said of that the better. Creative writing has been fun and I'm thinking of doing a graphic novel (I guess the more appropriate term would be mini-comic) as my big semester-long project. I've been meaning to do something akin to that (webcomic) for a long time but everyone keeps bailing on me when I ask them if they want to write it. You'd think that would encourage me to strike out on my own, wouldn't you? But oh well.
Anyone who watches Raw over 24 is a fucktard. Too back Jack didn't take out Walt Cummings' eye out like he said. He'll make up for it by killing a bunch of nameless terrorists next Monday. Or who knows, maybe he'll take out Walt's eye before the end of the day. Like an epilogue. Walt's being transfered to a high-security prison. As the guards walk him to a patrol car, Jack knocks them out so he can go to work on Walt. Walt pisses his pants as Jack grabs his knife and tells him, "this is for killing David Palmer you sonfoabitch!" One scoop and swoop and, bam!, it's eye-patch season for Walt. WOOOOOO!
...
Yes, I am perfectly stable, why do you ask?
The most badass series ever - Jack Bauer, The Punisher, Chris Benoit, Agent Elliot Stabler and Dirty Harry as mercenaries with Dr. House as the team medic. Oh, and with a soundtrack provided by Jose Alfredo Jimenez. Someone has to make this happen.
