weeeellll...
Everything is going great in my life. Everythign but one thing. Right now my grades are at their highest (yay!), i got accepted into UCF (my college of choice) and FSU (my 2nd college of choice) so i'm happy thats done with for the most part (double yay!), and it looks like i'm gonna qualify for the bright futures scholarship which grants me 100% tuition and maybe a pel grant which will pay for excess things and maybe a car (triple yay!) ^.^
The one thing that distresses me to no end and, if you havn't guessed it by now as its been the center of focus on my past few posts, it is a prom date. I don't know why i have such a huge problem finding one. I mean, i'm almost 18 years old and i havn't had a single girlfriend. Whats more, something that most of you who actually read this may find surprising (or maybe not?) i don't think i've ever had a 'crush' on somebody. Ever. Granted, i do find some people attractive and stuff like that, but thats about the extent of it.
Also, some of you may also remember that challenge i set before myself earlier this month, which was to get atleast a bit further in my quest to find a date for prom by v-day. Well, its several days past that, well over a week, and still no dice. ugh...i wonder whats gonna end up happing. i'm guessing i simply won't be able to find someone and not go or something of that nature. Meeting new people is just too hard this far into the school year. When i visit new places or work meeting new people is a cinch, but in school i become so much more reserved and quite. Also school has become such a routine with the poeople i talk to and stuff that meeting new people is all the more difficult.
