Feel a little better today, but still feel crappy. Having some coffee in the computer lab. Just got finished with "Success Strategies", this semester's Mickey Mouse course. Took a bunch of personality and aptitude tests. Apparently my style in these tests is to be less than mediocre in just about everything except maybe two...and those two will be friggin MAXED OUT!!! Like the "8 intelligent types". Out of the 8 types, 6 of them were "Underdeveloped": Bodily-Kinesthetic(got pts. in that just because I pace. heh.), Visual-Spatial, Musical, Interpersonal(toldja I wasn't a people-person), Logical-Math(well duh), and Naturalistic(Outside?...Aren't there bears outside?). Then one "Moderately Developed": Intrapersonal(because I spend more time in my own head than anywhere else). And then MAXED OUT on "Highly Developed": Verbal-Linguistics. Here are some of the things that got me that rating:
"I enjoy telling stories." Heck yeah.
"I like to write." Yep.
"I like to read." Oh yeah.
"I express myself clearly." Well, I think I do.
"I am good at negotiating." When I want to be, I can be great at it.
"I like to discuss topics that interest me." ...AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA...aheh...heh...woo. More than you could ever know, little quiz-thingie.
THEN I took a "Personality Spectrum" test. 4 categories, 2 reeeeaaally high, 2 reeeeeaaaallly low.
Highest one: Adventurer-Your strength is skillfullness. Adventure is your middle name. You need variety, and waiting is like "emotional death". You live in the here and now. It is your impulsiveness that drives everything you do. You dislike rigidity and authority.
Second highest: Thinker(the part that really got me on this one was the relationship section, the last two sentences mostly.)-You thrive in relationships that recognize your need for independence and private time to think and read. Stress can come from the fear of appearing foolish. You want others to accept that you feel deeply even though you may not express it.
And the two lowest(unsurprisingly) were: Organizer and Giver. *shrugs* Sorry.
Now the question has undoubtedly been asked somewhere along the line at this point "Why is he going on and on about this crap?" Answer: Because I find studying how my own mind works fascinating, even if you don't. But I need to get home and get ready for work, so I'll catch you guys later.
