Scientific Studies

I would like to submit the following link for your perusal: A study of the brain activity in democrats and republicans. As a summary, the study shows that liberals are almost five times more likely than conservatives to actually engage in decision-making, where republicans instead tend to rely heavily on habitual tendancy. The results from the study indicate that liberals are much more likely to be open to scientific, social or religious change, and are also much more likely to make a decision based on the merits of the topic, as opposed to republicans simply following a rigid structure out of habit.

Is it a coincidence that college students, who are by definition well-educated and more likely to be open-minded, tend to support the democratic party? You could almost draw a connection between being educated and party affiliation, but the political proportions on campuses are not nearly this disparate.
