Title: Price of Truth
Characters: Ramza Beoulve and Open
When: Upon waking in... Wonderland?
Where: Just outside the Queen of Hearts' castle.
Warnings: Angsty-ness?
Summary: Ramza wakes up, only to be arrested and put on trial. The crime? Heresy. What else?
Ramza could not fathom what was going on. He woke up in a strange place, only to be slapped in chains by what appeared to be playing cards with hands, feet, and faces. Charged with the crime of heresy, with 'evidence' that made no sense.
Luckily, he had been able to steal a guard's spear, and used it to fight his way out of the castle. Nothing was making since. He only hoped that upon reaching the courtyard, he would be able to at least place where he was within Ivalice.
Unfortunately, that was not the case. Everything seemed like it was straight out of a madman's dream. Unfortunately, he was taken from his stunned stupor when surrounded by more of the card-soldiers. It was awkward, spear fighting with his hands bound by the shackles on his wrists, but he was skilled enough to keep his freedom, for now.
Of course, he wouldn't mind some help, either.
