He'd noticed her earlier that morning. Her hair stood out compared to that of those around her, vivid where everyone else was dull. Even the range of those with hair like his were not quite as noticeable for fact of sheer number.
Thus, she'd caught his notice, and he peered down at her a bit longer, trying to figure out what she was doing before he dropped down from his perch, to the side and just behind, to see more closely. Of course, once he was so close he found himself utterly fascinated.
So it wasn't just the hair that was unusual. "Hello, might I inquire after a fair lady's name?"
