Summary: A new arrival, in an old world.
Nocturne looked around at the plaza, his bright Hawaiian shirt standing out like a sore thumb amidst the night and concrete of the dark city. He hadn't expected to ever see this place again. In fact, he'd rather hoped he wouldn't. He'd wanted to put this part of his past as far behind him as he could.
But now here it was again, all around him. And, not knowing how he'd gotten here, he couldn't do anything about it. No Gummi Ship, and no protection for traveling the Dark Corridors; he didn't wear that cloak anymore if he could help it. So he was stuck, and there was only one thing to do: cope. And Nocturne knew only one way to cope in a situation like this.
He sat down on the steps in front of the too-familiar skyscraper, his sitar cradled in his lap, and started to play.
I once knew a man
Showed me the sleight of hand
In the blink of an eye he'd dance across the strings...
