It made her smile as she walked around the village, trying to get a feel for the place and maybe find Roxas. Could he be here? It was possible, wasn't it? It had to be. The idea of him being blind and alone back at that place...it didn't sit right with her. So lost in her thoughts that she barely watched where she put her own feet, she didn't notice that she'd come nearly to the entrance to the woods beyond the vullage, until she caught sight of a familiar blond head. She sighed in relief, jogging over to crouch beside him.
"Roxas?"

"...Kairi?"

"Yes. It's me." Still, there was concern in her voice. That hadn't changed, even if he could see and they were safer now.
"Are you all right? What happened to you?"

At her questions, he realized that might be a little more difficult to do than he thought. He slowly reached back to scratch his head mildly, looking very Sora-like as he did so. That awkwardness sinking into his expression.
"I'm okay, I think. I was looking for you. I remember that much." And then the sunset and the sudden wretched headache. But he figured sparing those details might be better off for her. He didn't want her to worry, after all. Especially if he seemed to be alright then. Although... seeing himself watching that sunset on the islands instead of being himself? That was a little... well.

He'd been looking for her...like he'd been concerned for her wellbeing. It made her smile turn softer; fonder.
"Well, I think we found eachother."

For the moment though, he just amounted it to the memories he had seen. Maybe they were the cause of this effect on him... although after their close encounter with... whatever thing that had been back in the other world, and her leading him around as she had? Well... So perhaps it was more than the memories that were making him feel so relieved to see her. Despite all the questions jamming up his head. He chuckled just a bit.
"Yeah... I guess we did."
Question was. Where were they now?

She laced her hands in her lap, clasping them together. Her palms tingled a little from where she'd clutched at Oathkeeper's hilt, and she could feel soreness creeping up her arms and legs from deflecting the creature. But she hadn't seen anything like that on her walk around the village, so maybe they were safe....
"I haven't run into anything, so I think we're safe here."
Wherever here was. Because it wasn't that last place, and it wasn't home. But it was close to that. She...well, she liked it here. A little.

To her comment, he nodded himself. "Yeah... I haven't either. Looks like we got lucky. ...--Oh, hey."
He reached into his pocket and drew out the missing piece of cloth she had lent to him with a shy smile. Holding it out to her. "Here. I figured you would want it back, so."
Reply
"Thank you."

"Are you? Alright, I mean." He had never asked her, he realized. Just kind of assumed that she was. She was the one that had found him, after all. ...That and perhaps it was partly because it delayed getting into other things. Now that they were together again, and that he could see especially, he was starting to second guess if he really wanted to know or not.

...provided her now growling stomach wanted to let her. She could feel her cheeks color with embarrasment, too.

"Sounds like someone's hungry." Then searching around the area a moment with his eyes. (And was he ever glad that curse was lifted.) "Wonder if there's any place where we could get something to eat..."

"Do you want to come with me to look?"

Carefully, he followed suit, slowly rising to his own feet. He couldn't help the peculiar look he gave her when she made that inquiry. "Huh? Yeah, sure." The 'Why wouldn't I?' implication there a little more than obvious. He wasn't about to let her out of his sight, feeling compelled to return the favor, especially after all the trouble she went through to help him out before.
"Come on." He waved to her with a small smile. Silly Kairi being all embarrassed.

With her hands laced behind her back, Kairi looked towards the water. It felt like Home here. If they couldn't find anyone who would help out a pair of hungry teens, well, she knew how to fish.
"Roxas, can you fish?"
Reply
"Well, I've never done it before. But I'm up for trying." He gave a goofy grin, feeling a little excited about the prospect actually. It was something different, something he had never had a chance to do before. And it would provide as a great distraction to how crazy this all was turning out to be.
"What, you want to?"
