Woah my LJs are now coming in once a week shots >_< .. the spirit of the new term is already hunting moi!
hmmm gotto think of some counter-plan against this issue ... must fire up somma that princessxia spirit within wahahaha ... lose some sleep perhaps? HELL NO xD
OK well its not been such a exciting week anyway, done alot of research than being told what to do ... kinda like I had to make up my own tasks =D ... but its not so cool when you are as lazy as me -_- though I did do what ma boss wanted so thats alright, I hope. FlipFactory is $20000? @_@ well thats what I'm working on, an automated media server, which would translate (re-encode/render+whatever else options you put into it) and deliver (transfer to somewhere else local/network/ftp/etc.) the jobs you submit to it in a few different ways (database/http/java RMI), and I made a monitor for it using C# that enables it to submit jobs automatically from a folder its watching, though FlipFactory already has this option, my version enables the user to change priority of pending items and such so ... yeah its not been too exciting xD
I finished Stephen King - The Shining ... yet another Stephen King book ... and I have to say that STEPHEN KING CAN REALLY BORE YOU TO DEATH!
Man what the f*** is wrong with that guy? I thought he was famous! He writes good as in words/literacy and all but the stories really suck! I was so bored! I dragged myself to finishing it.
Well I'm giving him one more try, next target: Stephen King - Desperation, because something about 3rd time charm ... or perhaps cos I've already downloaded it ^^;
Heres the one of the last paragraphs of the book:
"The way things should be and the way things are hardly ever get together, the world is a hard place, it don't care, it don't hate you and me but it don't love us either. Terrible things happen in the world and they're things that no one can explain. Good people die in bad, painful ways and leave the folks that love them all alone, sometimes it seems like its only the bad people who stay healthy and prosper. The world don't love you but your mama does and so do I. But see that you get on. Thats your job in this hard world, to keep your love alive and see that you get on no matter what, pull your act together and just go on."
