Cute? Bleach isnt =P
*sigh* It is rare for me to drop an anime (stop watching it ~ not like I can be bothered to sub anything atm), but after 77 eps bleach has gone too far on being completely useless and boring, so I've got not choice to stop watching it since I have much better things to do with my time (like watching Basilisk yey). Its not like I ever liked bleach, no in fact like most other anime I watch it so that I can confidently say the anime totally sucks (or perhaps defend it if it doesn't) but after a 5 minute review of what bleach has given me I came to the following conclusions:
- In 20 minutes bleach really gives too little for anyone to bother wasting that much time ... you could probably watch one out of 10 eps and still understand the whole storyline.
- The humour and jokes are the worst! I've not laughed at a single "joke" they've made ... I dont have problem with anime without joke or humour which are serious (since they have class) but "if you wanna be funny and are not you better stop trying cos you'll just look dumb" or something along those lines is what I'm thinking atm about bleach.
- The character design is not what I would consider cool, nice, classy or to my taste. Its too simple with no special detail on the characters, and I'm not sure why but in the inbetweener scenes the characters look very distorted with their faces sometimes stretched too much to be recognisable (budget problems? I hope so).
- The character development is poor. Chad and Hime are basically there to fill out the scene, absolutely no use what so ever. Everything is concentrated on Ichigo, and he's not even that good a character so far, or atleast I don't feel anything (he ain't cool or anything special) after 77 eps!!
- The storyline is what kills me. I usually stick around with anime to find out the whole story line. I hate soaps which have an ongoing meaningless storyline. OK lets go to the beginning, I'm quiet proud that I didn't start collecting this series cos I guess my senses told me this isn't gonna be such a great anime, so at the beginning the story seems to be that Ichigo has to save Rukia, and if he fails (comes naturally since he is such a dumbass) no worries cos the storyboard can feed him more power to overcome any damn thing you throw at him. Ye sure its "cool" and "neat" but its always so unreal that it kinda kills the fun, no one dies, Ichigo always saves everyone and never kills a single "bad guy" cos he's the "good guy". Then the story develops into a conspiracy, which comes out of no where and goes no where ... for now!?! And after all that the bounto saga, which is like a big filler I guess after the first two sagas (or atleast I think of them as 2). WTF is up with the stuffed animals ... with powers >_< such bs belongs to the zoo man! Pissing me off Grrrr
- One last thing is like what they have in most anime where they explain some "complicated" things which are unique to that anime, like for example a move someone does or a bit of the plot that is best explained to clarify ambiguity, its usually there to fill the ego of producers who are proud of themselves for coming up with such stuff ... or thats how it seems like. In bleach these pathetic! Other than the explanations being too simple and not adding any content to the context, they are degrading >_< (thats how I feel!) they explain things as if their viewers are dumb pre-schoolers ... omg wait a sec maybe thats their target audience!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!111 nooooooooooo ~_~ zomg writing does help clarify alot!
- I could keep watching this ever worsening story line and see some cool sword clashes and bouncing cherries ... but I spare myself from the time I would waste.
And with that I close the bleach chapter at ep. 77 with a personal rating of 5/10 ~ Fine ~ This anime is better than decent but still not good, there are a few moments you enjoy although you can’t really recommend it to others.
If you're wondering why I bothered writing all that above, it would be cos I really needed a good reason to convince myself to stop halfway, since I don't like to leave the things I start unfinished ^_^;;;
WoOoOoOoOooo on the other hand 3 more weeks till the end of Naruto fillers? I hope so ._.
Watched REC over the weekend, sweet little love story, worth a watch cos its so small xD gg subs are good!
Also watched Scary Movie 4 ~ its well funny, cool references to other movies. I did get quiet a few laughs out of it =D I would say its one of the best in the series.
Writing a weekly log of my work placement is harder than anticipated =x and I'm starting to get pains in my fingers nooooooooo!! Better start taking care =/
