I was wondering, and my boyfriend and I have been arguing about this. But where do you all think Arrancar go when they die? I know Hollows can either go to Soul Society or Hell (if they sinned heavily in life). And I thought the killed Espada would be at one of these, since I ALSO thought that only Quincy powers can completely destroy a soul/Hollow

Sorry to thread hop, just wanted to comment on this thought:

I'm probably just misreading what you said, but it isn't exactly true that Kubo has "not decided" whether Ulquiorra will return or not. He simply refused to confirm his death, which doesn't indicate that he hasn't made a decision about Ulquiorra's return either way.

Of course, that doesn't mean we can't speculate on whether or not Kubo has it all planned out yet. Though I personally believe that Kubo plans a lot more than he lets on, so I tend to think that he had already formulated what would happen to Ulquiorra from the get-go XD

Yeah, like I said, we can guess whether or not he had anything planned out - it's just that the interview he gave didn't specify that he hasn't decided. I just thought it made a bit of difference when trying to figure out themes and such as they relate to Ulquiorra - to me, it means more when I can catch things he plans out. Though I still love Bleach as much as I used to, so I'm probably a bit biased XD

Nah, I know a lot of people don't, I don't really blame them. I just happen to be pretty militant about his return, so I couldn't help but comment.

No, I totally understand - I don't want to jump down anyone's throat for wanting Ulquiorra to stay dead, or thinking that he will. I only want to make sure the facts are clear so that people can decide on their own, and if they want to know why I think he will come back or want to debate about it, I'd be happy to explain. But the Ash and the Heart were beautiful chapters, whether or not he returns. I think that's at least something most of us agree on :P

Lol, I'm actually a member on there too, my name is jukeboxbars XDD I've seen you around the 8059 FC (my other OTP :P).

The only reason I'm such a blabbermouth about the whole Ulquiorra topic is because I wrote an essay about his death/possible return like a few days after he died in the manga, so now I have this knee-jerk reaction whenever he's mentioned. I didn't intend to come across as defensive or anything like that ^^;

I would love for him to return, but as far as deaths go, his was amazing and perfect for his developmental as a character, so I wouldn't be too crushed if he was, like, dead-dead as opposed to mostly-dead. XDD
