I had a great time yesterday. I will miss my documentary groupmates and like the many balls I have had with
sigarilyo , I had one last night. Now I have to stop angsting about it being over and my problems and shit. I imagine this is how that guy in Roel Cortez' Napakasakit, Kuya Eddie would feel if he had a good day too.
Ben Folds Five - Still Fighting It
The ever-wonderful Sugarfree performed this song last night at the Music Museum with the Manila Symphonic Orchestra. Ebe Dancel (on keyboards for this number) dedicated the performance to his nephew, whom we heard from the audience telling him to hurry up and start before the number and thanking him after the number.
High School Musical 2 Cast - You Are The Music In Me
I wonder where the people who want to study this musical are. I can't remember what I had in mind at that time but I thought the thesis of the song (may pathesis-thesis pa akong nalalaman ha) was interesting. This is a feel-good song, pretty good with the chanting young people and the rocking piano. I was determined to dislike the musical, but this song is stuck on me. I wish Lucas Grabeel could have his version of the song though; then the voices would be infinitely better.

To me this compares to the movie version (which I love for sounding so earnest) the way the Josh G. Abrahams remix of Come What May compares with the radio track; I like them both, but their separate appeals are so different. Maybe it's in the way this version of the song is played, or whatever. Huy Rachel, sabi nung mama sa Amazon ito lang daw tsaka yung track ni Corbin Bleu yung maganda sa album.
