so far so good
Well school has been alright so far....I have quite a bit on my plate but I think *and hope* that I will be alright. It will be a stressful semester. I just need to stay motivated. I think the hardest thing will definitely be band literature with Dr. Hochkeppel. That's the hardest class in the mus. ed. curriculum. Life is pretty decent, the financial aid situation worked itself out so I'm not broke. Everything is laid out in front of me to have a very successful semester so I hope I can do well and not lose motivation. Help me out here!! :) Looking at next semesters schedule is pretty motivational. I only have 12 required credits of class left. Hallelujah...I will graduate soon. :)
Marching band is goin suprisingly well....I don't hate it quite yet....sure it's hot and stuff, but so far it seems much better than the past....hopeully the intensity doesn't wear down cause we have alot of good potential. I've met some new people and have made some new friends so that's really awesome. And for anyone who doesn't know, I shaved my head....I wasn't sure about it at first but I'm starting to like it. It is SOO comfortable. I know it freaked alot of people out..haha. they'll get used to it. Only problem with it right now is my head is soo white. lol I'm sure that won't last too long. Tonight was pretty cool, I was REALLY tired but still had to go to a History class at 6 this evening. I wasn't looking forward to it, but then the teacher walks in. The dude had a ragin cajuns shirt and jeans and flip flops. He gave us the sylabus which was only 1/2 a page. The first thing he said was, "Don't waste your F-ING money on a book for this class, My tests come from the notes you take in this class." Plus he gives us an outline of the lecture, so it's very easy. He's very upbeat and loud. So that helps out for it being such a boring topic. I was actually interested. OH well, it's getting late and I'm off to bed. I hope everyone is having a good start to the semester. GOOD NIGHT
